What type of preparation courses are offered? (↑top)
We offer two levels of preparation courses for the Gymnasium, both Maths and German: Primary level (grade 6) or Secondary Level (2nd or 3rd Secondary level A)
Who can participate? (↑top)
Our courses are meant for pupils who like to work hard and have no problems following the syllabus of their school. Minimum grades are required to join the courses, see (→Voraussetzungen für die Kursteilnahme).
What are the requirements? (↑top)
In order to start with course part 1, the minimum grades for Primary level are both 5 in Maths and German, for Secondary level A both 4-5 in Maths and German.
If the grades are half a grade lower than our requirements but your child shows potential for the Gymnasium, we ask for a letter of recommendation from his or her teacher.
If your child likes to start with course part 2 or 3, the grades must be higher than a 5 or a 4-5 respectively. (→Voraussetzungen für die Kursteilnahme)
Where and how can we register our child? (↑top)
Our courses can be booked through our website after March 1st of the respective year. (→Freie Plätze überprüfen und anmelden)
How long does the course last? (↑top)
The course starts after the summer break in August and lasts until beginning of March in the following year. It covers 19 weeks and can be attended either during school hours or else as intensive courses during the school holidays. (→Kursdaten und -zeiten)
How much does the course cost and what are the payment conditions? (↑top)
The total costs for the entire course for both subjects Maths and German varies between CHF 2’860.– and CHF 3’200.– depending on the time of booking. We offer a generous early booking discount once the courses are open for booking (→Kosten).
Each part of the course will be invoiced separately by email about 30 days before the course starts. The instalments are usually due on August, Oktober and Dezember.
What are the hours of the course? (↑top)
All courses take place on Saturday mornings from 08.30am until 12.10am (both subjects Maths and German).
In the city of Zurich additional courses are offered on Wednesday afternoons (01.30pm – 05.10pm) and on Saturday afternoons (01.00pm – 04.40pm).
Holiday courses take place in Zurich City only and run throughout the week (Mon – Sat).

We have our own material that we revise on an annual basis. (→Kursmaterial)
Our books are digital and are based on the syllabus of the public schools. Your child needs a laptop or a tablet to attend the courses. Tablets may be rented from us. (→iPad und Visualizer mieten)
